As a cermaist, Signe Persson-Melin has mad eoutdoor plant pots in many differnet forms, both in earthenware and stoneware. Despite holes in the bottom and feet underneath, they have never withstood the Swedish winter, cracking at the abse. In her work for Byarums Bruk, she says she has foundt eh perfect material for the purpose - sand-cast aluminium. The planters have a gentle flower shape, while the top collar makes the smaller sizes easy to move. The big one will proabbly have to stay wher eyou put it - on the upside, it will hold an entire tree.
